Karen became a student of personal transformation work as a young mother, back in 1994. She found herself overwhelmed as a working mom and struggled her way through postpartum depression. While she wanted to be a “great mom” she didn’t have a clue as to how to achieve that status.

“I was making decisions based on my mood and past experiences. Through continual self examination and deep faith, I’ve grown to realize that there are as many gifts from the experiences that I label ‘bad’ as there are in the ones that I see as ‘good’. I’ve learned to make conscious choices that serve my best interest and look for the good in others as well. Naturally, this helps me let go of the need to be seen as a ‘good mom’ and focus instead on healthy and whole relationships with my children.”

Karen Nowicki is a successful author, speaker and family coach. She is a two time recipient of the prestigious national Mom’s Choice Award®. Her children’s book, Maddie Moonbeam’s Garden, won for “best picture book” and her Snuggle Deep Retreat was awarded “best family friendly experience”. Karen is the founder of MotherDaughterWeekends.com which is a growing company solely dedicated to supporting women in having whole, healthy and happy relationships as mothers and daughters. Karen is a frequent guest on TV and radio shows, including Fox Phoenix Morning Show, ABC’s Sonoran Living, AZTV’s The Chat Room, MomTime TV, and SheKnows.com's Daily Dish. In her tele-seminars, workshops and one-on-one coaching relationships, Karen helps people establish true harmony and peace by teaching them how to silence the noise in their head in exchange for a deep listening to their inner wisdom. Before becoming an Integrative Coach Professional™ and opening her own business, Karen was a teacher and assistant principal for the Kyrene School District in Chandler, AZ. She was also the VP of Schools for Pinnacle Education, Inc. Above all else, Karen is mother to Grady, Madison, Ivan and wife to Mike.
